HEAD CLEARING // 11/11/15 BY SOPHIE
I never really know whether I can properly label myself as a person 'with anxiety' because talking about mental illnesses is difficult and very complicated. I do know however, that I often become extremely irrationally worried about lots of things. These 'things' are usually in the form of self-criticism, self reflection and the general looking at being concerned about the way I come across.
I've stumbled upon lots of new people and websites and talks and videos that seem to be shaking my head up even more. In a good way I think.
I have a lot to say. So much, that it's pretty difficult to express properly and coherently. I have always been a writer and I have notebooks (plural!) full to the absolute brim with odd thoughts and poems and emotional spiels about life and situations and confusing thoughts. I have found that what has been helping clear out my head a little and organise my messy brain is discovering people that seem to be on a similar wave-length. Although it's said by everybody, it really is nice to know that you're not alone in your own head.
So thanks Isabella Mente for being wonderfully relatable and writing things that clear my head out and make me want to talk to everybody about feeling and human connections and understanding and growing.
I'm not sure whether me writing down my emotions and thoughts will be at all helpful for anybody else. Perhaps it will just be helpful to me and my process of head clearing; but nevertheless, I feel like this will be healthy in some way or another.
This little journey of being inspired and trying to inspire others should be interesting. I'm all about progression right now; being mindful and aware and thoughtful and open is totally underrated.
Stay happy beauties
